Computer Based Training (CBT)

Computer based training (CBT) enables superior product learning experiences.  Today, simply providing a text based .PDF document is no longer sufficient.  The inclusion of interactivity with CD/DVDs or online learning tools is expected, as users have become accustomed to it and know that it works better.  Fortunately, interactive CBT is also better for business.

Businesses have always faced the problem that certain product or service related tasks need to be learned by users, and the business is expected to provide learning tools.  By taking advantage of interactive CBT, businesses can accomplish an efficient and cost-effective solution for this challenge.

Failing to provide interactivity with CBT means spending money somewhere else; interactive CBT can potentially reduce those costs, significantly.  For example; today, most businesses utilize call centers to assist with learning and support.  Imagine eliminating half of those calls.  Although it’s not likely to completely eliminate human support, it is possible to redirect many of those seeking learning to a single web or CD/DVD based interactive CDT solution.  Done right, the interactive CBT will successfully solve the problem.  Even better, interactive CBT is not subject to human error, is available 24/7 and is never tired or inconsistent.

Spark has a great deal of experience with developing interactive CBT tools.  We help our clients to implement solutions that are successful at improving learning and comprehension, and are even preferable to traditional human support, via call center staff.  The results Spark accomplishes for our clients equates to reductions of unnecessary paid staff, and subsequently reductions in total costs.
