This part represents a cooperative effort between customer and vendor. Empire converted this from a multi-piece aluminum assembly to a single plastic part with 1/3 of the weight. The design, of this component and its weight, are critical elements to the overall speed of the document sorting machine. The higher speeds attained using this design made this machine much faster than any of it’s competitors machines.
